Early 2010 Big 12 Power Rankings

2010 Power-Rankings with records from last year

Evan Kruegel

1. Texas - 13-1
2. Nebraska - 10-4
3. Oklahoma - 9-4
4. Kansas State - 6-8
5. Oklahoma State - 9-4
6. Texas Tech - 9-4
7. Kansas 5-7
8. Missouri 8-5
9. Texas A&M 6-7
10. Colorado 3-9
11. Iowa State 7-6
12. Baylor 4-8

Buff fans, rejoice, you cracked the top ten. Barely. My reason for that? Home games against Hawaii, Baylor, Texas Tech, Iowa State, and Kansas State. Believe it or not, but the Buffs will actually be favored in 3 of those games, and a win over Texas Tech or Kansas State at home would not be shocking by any standpoint. That leaves the buffs with 5 winnable games at home, plus wild card away games against Missouri and of course the always-insane Colorado State match-up. The buffs will likely be destroyed on the road at California, but games against Kansas, and Nebraska could be closer than some think. My prediction for the Buffs final record in 2010? 5-7 (Hey, at-least it's an improvement).
